Iran: Widespread Clashes of Looted Depositors of a State Affiliated Financial Institution

NCRI - Looted depositors of a state affiliated development financial institution protested in different parts of the Khorramabad city in Western Iran, including in front of governor’s office, on Sunday morning May 28th.

According to reports, demonstrators were chanting death to the governor (Death to Bazvand), and Death to Dowlatshah (Director of the Institute). They blocked the street and didn’t allow even one car to pass. According to a video clip from the protest scene in front of development financial institution, angry people of Khorramabad attacked the building with stone, and broke its glasses.
These protests are happening, while the officials of the agency have announced and promised two days ago, that they will pay looted depositors this Sunday. But, when the due day came to be empty with no deed, it provoked the anger of those looted depositors, and they attacked the Governor’s and institute’s buildings.
The protestors are demanding an investigation into the matter and reimbursement of their deposits. Angry protesters chanting slogan against the regime and brokers, and said no one is being accountable.
In fear of spreading the massive protest within the city, Police Special Forces unit, were dispatched to the scene from the early hours of this morning in front of the regime governor’s building.

Demonstrators at the bank crossroad stormed the central national bank, and intended going into the bank, which were prevented by the police. They also wanted to set fire into the street by pouring gasoline which again were prevented by police.
Police Special Forces raided demonstrators with water cannons and intended to disperse them, but people have resisted and would not be willing to retreat.

Rebuffing Trump, Iran president says missile tests to continue 'if necessary'

The U.S. leaders should know that whenever we need a missile test because of a technical aspect, we will test

Stocks News Daily, May 27, 2017--  Mr Trump said shared concern about Iran was driving Israel and many Arab states closer and demanded that Tehran immediately cease military and financial backing of 'terrorists and militias'.
The National Council of Resistance of Iran ( NCRI ) President-elect Maryam Rajavi said, 'He neither wants, nor is able to alter the regime's foundations and behavior'. President Hassan Rouhani won his second term with 57 percent of the vote while his opponent fellow-cleric, head of the chief shrine of Mashhad, Ebrahim Raisi got only 38 percent.

Political arguments stalled approval of the contract terms the government would offer, and US financial sanctions - and the potential threat of additional curbs - continue to dissuade many would-be global investors.
'The U.S. leaders should know that whenever we need a missile test because of a technical aspect, we will test', he said.

Tehran is more likely to ratchet up its interventions in Arab nations as the IRGC and Quds Force will be empowered and emboldened, and Iran will continue to be the top state-sponsor of terrorism.

He said that Saudis should know that terrorism is a big threat to the world and there is no choice except for moderation. Both of them have worked with Ali Khamenei, Iran's religiously appointed Supreme Leader, and both have worked years in Iran's political bureaucracy.

Rouhani also defended Iran's ballistic missile program, which has been highly opposed by the Trump administration. Our missiles are for peace and for defence. 'Rouhani will do one of two things: either wait and see what Trump does, or he'll say, 'Let's move ahead.' I'd advise him to go ahead'.

Trump’s Middle East Visit, New Alliances, and a Terrified Iran

President Donald Trump arrives in Saudi Arabia, May 20, 2017.

State-run IRIB TV, May 22:
“The US president is hand in hand with the supporters of terrorism, human rights victimized in the dances of swords… US raises allegations against Iran to ‘milk’ Saudi Arabia, according to Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.”

From Greeley, Colorado to Manchester, England

JNS.org - For those -- like me -- who’d never really given any thought to singer Ariana Grande before the terrorist atrocity at her concert...
Following Zarif’s undiplomatic and unprofessional remarks, Amir Abdullahian — an adviser to Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and known to be close with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei — provided a different perspective.
“First of all, they intend to strike a blow to the axis of resistance (read Iran’s coalition) in the region,” he said in remarks aired by IRIB TV. “This is a very important entity in the region as it has provided Iran’s utmost national security and interests.”
“This is the initiative pursue by the Saudis following the election of Mr. Trump,” Abdullahian continued. “In response to the existing Saudi Arabia, with a group of warmongering extremists at the helm, we must react with wisdom, power and force. We don’t consider Saudi Arabia as a strategic enemy. No. The Saudis lack such a capacity.”
While this senior Iranian official resorted to such claims in an effort mainly aimed at maintaining a straight face in the wake of continuous setbacks suffered by the regime, the semi-official Fars news agency, known as the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ (IRGC) mouthpiece, shed light on the regime’s true concerns over Trump’s visit to Riyadh

“The editor-in-chief of the Kayhan daily described recent remarks made by [Iranian President Hassan] Rouhani against various entities inside the Iranian government as fuel to provoke the US and the sheikhs of various Arab countries,” the piece reads. “Mr. Rouhani’s government, in its first day back in office has returned the shadows of war over our nation.”

“Despite Rouhani boasting of distancing the shadows of war from our country, the Riyadh conference, focusing on establishing an Arab NATO and sales of $110 billion in military equipment underscore how the weak actions of [Rouhani’s] cabinet not only emboldened the US to take aggressive actions against our country, even small Arab countries have reached the point of openly speaking of establishing an Arab NATO to launch a military confrontation against Iran,” the Fars piece continued.
As all elements of the Iranian regime are evaluating how to analyze and respond to the consequences of Trump’s visit to the region, the voice of the Iranian opposition welcomed the recent developments.

Maryam Rajavi — president of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), a coalition of Iranian dissident groups leading the struggle to bring about regime change in Iran — hailed the positions adopted at the Arab-Islamic-American Summit in the face of Iran’s actions.
For nearly four decades Tehran’s measures have robbed the region, and the world over, of quiet and stability. It is time to take firm action against Iran’s terrorism and fundamentalism endeavors, its dangerous ballistic missile program and its meddling in the affairs of others. Steps similar to those embraced in the Riyadh conference are what are needed to bring a final end to terrorism, war and bloodshed, and establish peace and harmony. The recent tragic bombing in Manchester leading to the loss of too many more innocent lives was yet another reminder of the utter importance of this.
While condemning Iran’s actions and crimes is a constant necessity, practical measures, and more specifically, ending all diplomatic relations with the mullahs, expelling this regime’s delegations from international organizations, blacklisting the IRGC and other military/paramilitary/security entities associated with the government, are necessary follow-ups.
notorious
Iran’s human rights violations and the 1988 massacre of over 30,000 political prisoners, mostly members and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), have gone ignored for far too long. This horrific dossier deserves immediate referral to the United Nations Security Council and The Hague to bring all affiliated Iranian regime officials to justice.
President Trump correctly described the Iranian people as the first victims of the mullahs’ regime. King Salman of Saudi Arabia, while delivering his respects to the Iranian nation, emphasized that ever since late regime founder Ruhollah Khomeini’s rise to power the mullahs have become the spearhead force behind global terrorism.

The ultimate solution for the current crisis engulfing the entire Middle East is regime change in Iran, carried out by the Iranian people and their organized resistance, symbolized by the NCRI.
Freedom and returning sovereignty to the Iranian people by ending the mullahs’ rule is the desire of all Iranians. Recognizing this nation’s true demand is essential to establishing peace and tranquility in the region, and indispensable to international security.

Iran Regime Says It Has Built Third Underground Ballistic Missile Factory

The Iranian regime claims it has built a third underground ballistic missile production factory and will keep developing its missile program.
The announcement was made by the Fars news agency, affiliated to the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), which quoted a senior IRGC commander.

The development is likely to fuel tensions with the United States in a week when President Donald Trump, on his first foreign trip, has called Iran's regime a sponsor of militant groups and a threat to countries across the Middle East, Reuters reported.
"Iran's third underground factory has been built by the Guards in recent years ... We will continue to further develop our missile capabilities forcefully," Fars quoted Amirali Hajizadeh, head of the IRGC’s airspace division, as saying.
Since taking office in January, Trump has imposed new sanctions on Iran's regime in response to its recent missile launches, putting Tehran "on notice".
The Iranian regime's President Hassan Rouhani said on Monday: "Iran does not need the permission of the United States to conduct missile tests".
Countries in the region have expressed concerns over Tehran's ballistic missile program, seeing it as a threat to regional security.
In 2015, Iranian state TV aired footage of underground tunnels with ready-to-fire missiles on the back of trucks, saying the facility was one of hundreds of underground missile bases around the country.
"It is natural that our enemies America and the Zionist regime (Israel) are angry with our missile program because they want Iran to be in a weak position," Hajizadeh said.
Most nuclear-related sanctions on Iran's regime were lifted last year as part of the international nuclear agreement with Tehran. But the Iranian regime remains subject to a U.N. arms embargo and other restrictions.
Two months after implementation of the deal, the IRGC test-fired two ballistic missiles that it said were designed to be able to hit Israel.
"Along with improving our defense capabilities, we will continue our missile tests and missile production. The next missile to be produced is a surface-to-surface missile," said Hajizadeh, without elaborating

John McCain: Trump's trip sends strong message to Iran

Washington Examiner, May 21, 2017-- Sen. John McCain on Sunday said President Trump's trip to Saudi Arabia this weekend sent a strong message to Iran that the U.S. and its allies are ready to block Iran's efforts to destabilize the region.
'There's no doubt that if we're going to impede the Iranian's continued efforts to exert, certainly, significant strength in the region that this is an important step forward,' the Arizona Republican said on 'Fox News Sunday.'
Trump's trip to Saudi Arabia was also necessary to patch up relations that had soured under the Obama administration, he said.

'I think that the Sunni-Arab world, particularly our traditional friends there, are encouraged because of the very strained, if not estranged, relations between the previous administration,' McCain said. 'And so I think it's successful, I think it's important.'
